p86Will of Isaac Bush
In the Name of God Amen
I Isaac Bush of the State of South Carolina and District of Barnwell being Sick, but of perfect Mind and Memory do make this my last Will and Testament, (viz)
First, I will that my sons William and David shall pay all my Just debts as have heretofore been Stipulated and agreed to by them.
Second, I give to my beloved Wife Zilpha Bush all my Household and Kitchen furniture of every description during her natural life and after her death to my Son David.
Third I give and bequeath to my Daughter Sary McElmurray the following Negroes June, Jack, Tenah, Polly and Lucindy, during her natural life and after her death to be equally devide between the Heirs of her body
Fourth, I give to my son John if ever should apply personally, or by an agent, one cow and calf. And I do hereby confirm as my last will all Deeds and other conveyances to Lands and Negroes which I have heretofore assigned over to my sons William and David
Fifth, I give and bequeath to my grand son Isaac Newton Bush one Negro girl name Betsey, And I do hereby appoint my sons David and William my Executors to this my last will and Testament revoking all former Wills by me made ratifying and confirming this to be my last will and Testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand and Seal this Nineteenth day of January in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty five and in the fifty ninth year of the Sovereignty and Independence of the united States of America.
